 Yeah, we recently changed Pidgin to downsize AIM icons if they were too
 large.  You buddy icon probably wasn't showing up for other people at all,
 before.

 To work around this bug you could probably downsize the icon to be less
 than or equal 64x64px yourself using some sort of image manipulation
 program (like Photoshop or Gimp) or you might be able to find a web site
 that does it for free.
