 Confirmed here as well.
 When signed in on Live Messenger, I am unable to see any display pictures
 belonging to any contacts that are using Pidgin, including myself on
 another computer.
 When signed in using Pidgin, I can see the display pictures belonging to
 other Pidgin users, but for Live Messenger users I can only see some,
 while others are missing.
