 The user should choose whether or not to flash the buddy list in the
 taskbar when a "new e-mail" notification occurs. I have to click it off so
 frequently just to get rid of the annoying bright orange blob that I've
 several times considered turning off email notification entirely. But it
 is very nice being able to glance at the indicator at the top of my buddy
 list.

 So I recommend the flashing to be removed entirely, to go back to normal
 taskbar texture/color after a timeout (don't know if this is possible), or
 add a preferences checkbox to disable it. It seems a shame for a nice
 feature to come with so much baggage.

 Windows Vista. Not sure if others have similar flashing mechanics.

 [This is my first ticket here; I did search for a similar suggestions but
 apologize if I just need to lrn2better, or if I miscategorized. Appreciate
 your consideration despite having bugs to work on.]
