Comment:

 The protocol itself is xmpp, not facebook. Facebook as well as Gtalk are
 "popular services" using xmpp.

 The Facebook and Gtalk "protocols" were added just as convenience to help
 people configure their accounts without messing with xmpp details for that
 well known service.

 That's why both uses the xmpp set from the smiley theme.

 I'm marking this as pending to be closed automatically if you don't answer
