 I updated the bug at http://code.google.com/p/pidgin-gnome-
 keyring/issues/detail?id=2 , as the problem is not reproducible for me
 (Pidgin and libpurple 2.7.9, on Debian Wheezy).

 My passwords are immediatly removed from accounts.xml after enabling
 gnome-keyring plugin.

 Can someone check if this is version-related?
