#13447: Unable to add the buddy to contact list
-------------------------------+--------------------------------------------

Component: MSN | Version: 2.7.10
 Keywords: add contact buddy |
-------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
I'm only using my msn account in pidgin, the only plugins that are
 installed and enabled are:
Bot Sentry, History, Send Button and Windows piding options.
However, anytime I try to add a new buddy to my contact list, no matter if
I right click on a group and select Add buddy, or if I go to the Buddies
menu and select Add Buddy it always fails with:

 "Unable to Add
Unable to add the buddy user at email.com because the username is invalid.
Usernames must be valid email addresses."

Please note that I replaced the email address with that account, I
perfectly ensured the email address is valid and in correct format.
It happens with any email addres I try to add, either hotmail.com,
hotmail.es, gmail.com, yahoo.com, they all fail with the same error.
Everytime I have to switch back to the original windows live msn to add
the buddy and then have pidgin reload the contacts list.

I put the debug window and this is what it says:

 (00:44:38) gtkappbar: wnd_poschanging
 (00:44:39) msn: Add user:email at hotmail.es to group:MyGroup
 (00:44:39) msn: C: NS 000: FQY 56 47
 (00:44:39) gtkappbar: wnd_poschanging
 (00:44:39) msn: S: NS 000: FQY 56 54
 (00:44:39) msn: Process FQY
(00:44:39) msn: FQY response says email at hotmail.es is from network 0
 (00:44:40) gtkappbar: wnd_poschanging

 And that's it.
This happened to me in the previous versions of pidgin as well.
I am using windows vista 64b BTW.
 Any ideas?
