 I'm running Ubuntu Maverick 10.10 and this happens in both Pidgin 2.7.3
 and 2.7.9. Only tested with XMPP (I only use an XMPP account).

 Receiving messages seems to be okay, but as soon as I send one Pidgin
 immediately crashes.
