 I am using Pidgin  on Archlinux with OpenBox as window manager (or desktop
 manager? i am not really sure about terminologi) and when somebody sends
 me a link (no matter via which protocol) and I click on the link pidgin
 should open it in new tab (I am usign Chromium by the way). Instead of
 that, the whole system freeze and is not responding (well, I can open Task
 Manager by CTRL+ALT+DELETE and close already open windows (kill them :D)
 but I cannot do anything else, even use other running programs).

 Please, can somebody look into this? It really annoying doing hard restart
 each time I forget and click on some link. Thanks
