 Yes, I'm using the Ferramroberto PPA from
 http://ppa.launchpad.net/ferramroberto/pidgin/ubuntu. I had the exact same
 problem in 2.7.9, and then installed that port to see if it still happened
 in 2.7.11 (even if it is an unofficial version).
