 This is about yahoo accounts in pidgin and seen in yahoo messenger.
 Haven't tested anything else as I don't have anything else to test.

 If you set your status to a custom message of type "do not disturb", your
 status will be set to "Busy" (as seen in yahoo messenger) and that's it.
 The actual message is not shown.

 If you are using a status type of "extended away", nothing happens on
 yahoo side.

 status types "away" and "available" work fine.
