Comment:

 No, the problem is not when I'm offline, it's when I log in (invisible or
 not). If someone had sent me a message before, pidgin won't retrieve it.

 But I think it could be a firewall setting, I have actually blocked HTTP
 for hotmail.com/live.com. So I will mark this as invalid and wait until
 someone else reports it.
