 I have many 'buddies' on my list.
 For some of them, those that I rarely talk to but who log in/off
 frequently, I don't need to know when they log on or off.
 Is there no way to disable sounds for a single buddy...short of removing
 the buddy from the list?

 I tried setting a Buddy Pounce, and un-selecting the "Play a sound" box
 for the buddy, but that doesn't work -- Pidgin still plays the default
 signon/signoff sounds, which I don't want to disable globally but only for
 specific buddies.

 Very annoying.

 Can you allow disabling of signon/signoff sounds for a single buddy?
 (That would be in effect a 'negative' buddy pounce, allowing greater
 versatility over notifications). Thanks.
