New description:

 Hello all.

 I have an issue which has recurred a few times. at startup, pidgin hangs
 on my windows 7 x32 box. I use this for work so it is pretty critical for
 me. I searched the historic reports but am not finding any real relevant
 issues. I have collected a debug log, renamed the pref's, renamed the
 accounts, to no avail. Review of the log shows it hangs at the same place
 despite changes to try to get it to progress.

 Pidgin enters memory and stays at about 9 mb with no processing. I have
 seen this happen a few times historically and it automagically fixed
 itself.


 Any assistance would be helpful.
