Comment:

Using the following instructions I had renamed the prefs file:
 - If your crash is a crash on startup, you can try renaming the prefs.xml
file in .purple to something such as prefs.xml.old to force a startup
 without plugins
 http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/TipsForBugReports

I had collected 4 logs while having the issue and I am sure one of them
had the file renamed. All the behavior was the same and they hung at the
same point in the logging. If you think it may help I can post the rest.
The line number it hung on did not even change so I am assuming that it
 was identical.

If I am not mistaken that disables all plugins for start-up. . .As the
issue occurs sporadically I am unable to preemptively disable all the
plugins (SIPE for example I use for work)as it does not occur every day.
The behavior is the same though. When it happens nothing I have noted will
bring it back. I have completely ripped the app before and reinstalled.
All positive recollections are the same behavior. It goes away for hours.
. .and then automagically comes back in a couple of hours if I let the
 process run.

Thanks for the prompt reply and if I am mistaken in my assumption about
the rename of the xml for disableing the plugins please let me know what I
can do better so I can catch some valuable info for you next time.
