Comment:

 If the method taken is not the means to disable this specific plugin. .
 .can I just rename the accounts xml or how do I disable it. Please keep in
 mind that the pidgin gui is not available at the point of hanging.

 Thanks everyone for the direction on this. .. I thought I was knocking out
 all plugins.
