 This is not only problem with searching contacts:
  - try to search in "lublin" city, click 2x "next" (crashes Pidgin)
  - try to search in "wrocław" city, it will get records from "wrocaw"
 (strips the "ł" character)

 BUT: the problem with not signed in users is diffrent. In fact, there are
 two problems:
  - this dialog will find all contacts (online and offline), no matter if
 checkbox is selected or not
  - all found contacts will have "yellow sun" icon, that may suggest, they
 are online

 this occurs in newest 2.8.0dev version from monotone repository.
