 I normally use Linux, but have Pidgin installed on a couple of Windows
 boxes.  On XP home sp3 the buddy list in trapped minimized and there is no
 way to un-stick it.  Complete un-install & reinstall did not work.
 Removing .purple did not work.  I'm stumped, and completely unusable in
 XP.
