 That seems to be a problem connecting with hub server. Do you have
 problems connecting with other clients?

 If other client works, it could be helpful, if you could sniff your HTTP
 communication with 91.197.13.211 and 91.197.13.212 (appmsg.gadu-gadu.pl) -
 you can use Wireshark under Linux (i don't know any alternative for
 Windows).

 Temporary workaround: paste any server from http://www.kadu.net/monitor/
 as server in advanced tab in configuration of your gg account.

 My idea how to fix it: we can remember last used gg server and use it, if
 there is a problem with hub server. But as far as I see, libgadu doesn't
 provide separate error code for hub server related problems. I will ask
 them.
