 Replying to [comment:1 rekkanoryo]:
 > we require the user to accept self-signed ... certificates every time,
 whether there's a cached copy or not.

 This does not appear to be true: after disabling one of the accounts (so
 that there is only one certificate i'm interested in for myserver.com), i
 get no more prompts after the first accept (even after rebooting my
 machine).
