 I've been having this problem for a few weeks now. Pidgin just seems to
 randomly crash unattended. So this time I left it to run under GDB with
 debugging symbols installed. I am using Pidgin 2.7.11 (libpurple 2.7.11)
 under Ubuntu Maverick on amd64.
