 There is no directory for the new Ubuntu release "oineric" in
 http://ppa.launchpad.net/pidgin-developers/ppa/ubuntu/dists/

 This is causing the following error when checking for repository updates:

 Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/pidgin-
 developers/ppa/ubuntu/dists/oneiric/main/source/Sources  404  Not Found
 Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/pidgin-
 developers/ppa/ubuntu/dists/oneiric/main/binary-amd64/Packages  404  Not
 Found
 Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/pidgin-
 developers/ppa/ubuntu/dists/oneiric/main/binary-i386/Packages  404  Not
 Found
 Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones
 used instead.
