 While Pidgin is great IM client, its log viewing system is beyond bad.
 There are many plugins that try to solve this problem but they miss.

 I'l go ahead and give you the link to the mockup of how it could look

 Those of you who have used Skype, know that this is really similar to that
 (if not the same).

 Why is it needed:
 If you use many different accounts in pidgin and have lots of people in
 your buddy list, sooner or later it will become hard to remember who you
 were talking to yesterday or last week. And it is even harder to remember
 the account and username of that user (right now you need it to get to
 those logs).

 Now:
 Right now you have to use some terminal commands to sort those logs by
 date and join all the accounts in one search but it is not that convenient
 for most users.

 I know that most users would welcome this feature so please think about
 this and write your comments.
