 same prob on windows. i tried uninstalling. didnt fix the prob. same prob
 reported here: http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=271626

 not a firewall prob. im SURE. fb chat on pidgin via xmpp simply...stopped.
 can only recieve, not send
