Comment:

 Just found that, I cannot use Chinese names in www.live.com->profile....

 When I changed back to English, I can use pidgin again....

 Or, you can give [http://code.google.com/p/msn-pecan/] a try. Seems this
 plugin has better MSN protocol support. I can use Chinese name with this
 protocol plugin.
