 Hi guys,

 I'm having the same problem (I guess). I installed pidgin (using synaptic)
 after a fresh ubuntu (11.04) installation, and I'm still having this
 annoying bug.

 What happens is: When a buddy (gtalk buddy in my case) sends successive
 messages, and if the messages are opened from the Pidgin Internet
 Messanger indicator in the unity top panel, when the buddy is typing a
 message after sending a number of messages, and if the user tries to close
 the conversation window, first a blank-like conversation window appears
 just as in

 and if you then press esc or alt+f4 again to close this blank window the
 application crashes (or quits). Please tell me if I can help further.
