 Hi there

 After my colleague has updated the iServer and changed the iChat port from
 5222 to 5223 I'm unable to log in with Pidgin through the XMPP (Jabber)
 protocol.

 Looks like Pidgin can't cope with the higher security settings. I changed
 the "Connection Security" under the advanced tab to "Require encryption"
 and set the "Connect port" to 5223. Then Pidgin tries to connect forever
 and forever without a timeout. No warning, no message at all.

 If my colleague changes the iChat port back to 5222 and I use that port,
 it's working fine. But we want to chat on a secure layer and ran out of
 options for that riddle. Maybe you can help us or know the culprit?
