 I suffer from http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/8561
 http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/11261 as well as a related bug where
 pasting some urls causes proceeding messages to be underlined as if links,
 but after sending the recipient doesn't see the text, just the previously
 pasted url.
