 I kept getting an annoying "pidgin error 0x0024: unknown error" a few
 times a day.  It turns out that this is due to a difference in
 capitalization in my AIM username.  I was using "DRandall" instead of
 "drandall", and that was leading to the error in a more recent version of
 Pidgin.

 This error message is totally unhelpful.  If capitalization is the
 problem, then an error message like "Wrong spaces or capitalization in AIM
 username" would allow users to fix their username and avoid the annoying
 message.

 Incidentally, in order to correct the capitalization, I had to delete the
 account from Pidin's list and re-create it, since users aren't allowed to
 edit the username.
