 I have a plugin that can place a widget to the left of the Buddy List's
 notebook, and the gtkstatusbox allocation function causes the icon to be
 drawn in odd locations.  The icon's horizontal location is assigned as an
 absolute value instead of relative to its parent position.  Something
 simple like the attached patch should correct this.
