#15056: Pidgin missing in System Tray

 I've searched the old and existing tickets, and even uninstalled and
 reinstalled Pidgin before submitting this ticket. Also, they seem to be
 written very technically. But, my Pidgin icon is no longer appearing in
 the system tray:

 This is how I would get to my buddy list. I've tried right-clicking the
 Desktop icon and selecting "Open", but get a message stating: "An instance
 of Pidgin is already running."

 Users are able to IM me, however, I am unable to IM them without being
 able to open my Buddy List. I am using a Dell laptop (Windows). Please
 help!
