 Last week a contact with a strange email address
 (string at public.talk.google.com) showed up on my Buddy List. I recognize
 the nickname but I didn't add this person nor have I emailed them in over
 a year. I removed the contact from my Buddy List and the next day it
 showed up again. It continues to behave that way.

 Why does that happen? Why should I not be able to control who shows up on
 my Buddy list?

 Please help. It's very annoying.
