 Using Pidgin for Windows, with no third-party plug-in, version:
 Pidgin 2.10.6 (libpurple 2.10.6)

 Connected using MSN, had a website opened in Firefox (
 [http://www.goodnet.org/articles/337] ) and tried to copy-paste the URL
 into the conversation - right after pressing <ENTER> got following error
 message:
 Message may have not been sent because an unknown error occurred:
 http://www.goodnet.org/articles/337

 Typing the URL manually instead of pasting didn't help, neither did copy-
 pasting to Notepad first, then copying from it (so as to force Windows to
 treat it as plain text) didn't either.

 My buddy never received the URL. Tried other URLs from same site (like
 [http://www.goodnet.org/articles/301] ) and got same error, also tried
 sending it to various other persons (always using MSN protocol), also
 sending just the first part of the address (up to the .ORG), with or
 without the "http://" part - to no avail.

 Found I could have it sent by interspersing blank spaces in the address,
 like:
 http://www.good net.org/articles/337

 Reproduceable always, both after quitting/reopening Pidgin and after
 rebooting the machine.
