 Hi,

 I am using version 2.10.6 on Windows 7 64bits.
 I have the same issue but only with one gtalk contact, very strange (well,
 I have only 3 contacts).
 If I disconnect and reconnect from gtalk, the contact is correctly see
 offline.
 Sometime, this contact goes offline correctly, I am not sure if the bug if
 on pidgin side.. (same as Ryan above)

 I use only pidgin, I'd never used gtalk and the web chat is disabled.

 I have this bug since around may.
