#15283: Pidgin leaks private IRC messages into part messages in another channel

11:22:07 <-- gerv has left #instantbird (PRIVMSG Fallen :Oh, sorry.)
11:24:42 <flo> I wonder what client gerv used to send "Part: PRIVMSG
 Fallen :Oh, sorry." :-S

My part message from channel #instantbird was set to a private message I
had sent to user "Fallen". That privmsg is dated in my personal IRC log at
12:22:06, which is basically the same moment. The private message did
appear correctly in the correct window, although I have no way of telling
if Fallen actually received it (he didn't respond to that particular
 message specifically).

I left the channel by closing the relevant tab, not by typing any command.
So it can't have been a cut and paste thing (also, the presence of the
word PRIVMSG suggests that was not the problem).

Fortunately, the private message contained nothing sensitive. But Pidgin
should not leak info in this way!

Using Pidgin 2.10.3 in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
