 I reproduced this bug in a debian wheezy install, but it crashed my entire
 gnome session. I get a black screen with the message "Oh no! something has
 gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can't recover. Please
 log out and try again.".

 This was using the same png-1-width-800-height-2.png from bug #14571
