 In other software engineering projects, a bug without an update for twelve
 months generally indicates that it isn't being worked on nor has it been
 seriously considered.  I'm sure that someone reads them but without
 communication, the silence speaks for itself.

 I think SF's mirror network is part of the problem - using insecure
 infrastructure is part of the problem.

 Thanks for the update, I'm glad this hasn't just died on the vine!
