 Well, it's not up to me, is it? I would prefer the flagging solution,
 because then I don't have to keep json-glib-devel around just for this.

 Background: I was trying a minimal libpurple build from hg HEAD and
 noticed that compilation still fails even when you disable all optional
 parts requiring json-glib (e.g. gadu gadu). I'm using such a minimal build
 to verify my third-party plugin code against the latest 3.0.x API
 development.
