 I'm not yet clear on what change introduces this, but it appears revision
 ab10a481e30f should have been merged to release-2.x.y branch in order to
 solve the crash.

 .7devel-win32bin.7z this build] and see if the problem persists. In case
 of problems please throw in

 dbgsym.zip the symbols] and upload the RPT file.
 I so wish the GDB project would add core dumps on windows.
