New description:

I'm having some issues with my contact list on Pidgin. When a user comes
online, I can see him appear as online on my contact list - but when the
same user goes offline, it stays as online on my contact list. (Sometimes,
the mobile phone icon appears next to their names, and I now mostly use
this to see if the contact is online/offline.) This happens to all of my
contacts and on multiple protocols (Google Talk and Windows Live
 Messenger).

I tried searching for errors, but I don't see any appear in my terminal
from which I launched Pidgin. I also don't know on which version this
problem started, because I recently reinstalled Arch Linux (my OS) and
went with Pidgin this time. I only know that it did work in the past. I'm
using Pidgin version 2.10.1 with libpurple 2.10.1.

If you need anything else, please ask!
