#14938: Received images (over file transfer) are opened in web browser
-------------------+--------------------------------------------------------
Reporter: ov1d1u | Type: defect
Status: new | Component: pidgin (gtk)
Version: 2.10.1 | Keywords: kde transfer images
-------------------+--------------------------------------------------------
I'm using KDE 4.8.0 and when I receive an image with Pidgin (over file
transfer) and I click on the link pointing to the received file, the image
is opened in Chromium (the default web browser in my system). I guess that
the image should be opened in the associated image viewer (GwenView, in my
case). I don't know if this is an issue with Pidgin, GTK or KDE but I'm
reporting this here since this it's happening only with Pidgin.

 Steps to reproduce:
 1. Using KDE, receive an image file with Pidgin
 2. Click on the link (the one that appear in "Transfer of file
 imagename.jpg complete")

 What's happening:
The file is opened in web browser

 What should be happening:
The file should be opened in the associated image viewer

I'm using Pidgin 2.10.1 on ArchLinux, with KDE 4.8.0. Thank you.
