#14940: Keyboard entry goes to wrong tab if new conversation is started

 Steps to reproduce:
 1. Run a Pidgin chat window with multiple conversation tabs
 2. Start typing in one of the chat windows
 3. Receive a chat message that causes a new tab to be opened in the chat
 window
 4. Continue to type

 Expected behavior: everything that was typed should appear in the edit of
 the tab that you were looking at.

 Observed behavior: text that was typed after the new tab appeared is sent
 to another edit - and not the one that was just created, but one of the
 other tabs.

 This bug only seems to occur under Windows.
