Comment:

 Sort of get what you say, I think. If a buddy is a member of a contact
 group, it's not clear via visual feedback. Further, if there is an
 unblocked and a blocked buddy within the same contact, blocking the
 unblocked buddy results in the blocked buddy status reverting to
 unblocked.
