 This has been going on for some time.  I use pidgin for multiple yahoo
 accounts only.  When I click on "room list," I do not get the list of
 yahoo chatrooms at all; the field is blank.

 For a while, I was still able to use chatrooms by clicking "add room" and
 entering the room name manually.  I can still enter the rooms (and those
 in the room see me enter); however, nobody sees anything I type once I am
 in the room.  I am in the list of chatters in the room and I see my words
 appear in the chat, but nobody else can see them.

 The problem persists when I uninstall and reinstall the program, and when
 I use older versions of the program.  It even happened after I reformatted
 and reinstalled my entire operating system on my computer recently.

 I am hoping you can help me.  I have checked out several other chat
 programs but still like pidgin's interface the best.  It is very
 frustrating that it is no longer working for me.
