Comment:

 The way to automate this is to create an entry in the Registry:

 `SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Pidgin` with a value of the
 quoted absolute Path to your pidgin.exe (e.g. `"C:\Program
 Files\Pidgin\pidgin.exe"`).

 This type of thing would be better as a question on the mailing list
 instead of a ticket.
