 When running my unit tests, a crash started occurring in the
 msg_release_buddy_icon function.  It's intermittent, but started occurring
 more often when my system was busy.

 I've attached a customized traceback file,  debug output (I added a some
 debug output code in the msn_release_buddy_icon_request function see
 pidgin-2.10.6.debugging.patch) and a potential patch file for your
 consideration (see pidgin-2.10.6.patch)

 imclient.detail.bt is the traceback file
 imclient.log is the debug output
 pidgin-2.10.6.patch is the patch for your consideration
 pidgin-2.10.6.debugging.patch is the modification's for debug output
