 Pidgin has been working with a Sametime server until about a week ago.  No
 changes have been made to my system to my knowledge.  The current symptoms
 are that I now get "Not authorized" and that snooping with Wireshark shows
 a "Malformed Packet" resulting in an Error/Exception (Message within
 packet).  The native Sametime client works well from the same system.
