 From the stack trace I can't tell whether this is the same bug as #14392.
 It seems like it might actually be different.

 I tried reproducing this in Linux with the 2.x.y branch with
 e30e044988add329e86eaf06a2f6ab1b3c5c47bb reverted, but Pidgin didn't crash
 for me.

 SILC is one of our less-used protocols, and the SILC network is kind of
 deteriorating (no public web site, no active developers), so it's possible
 this bug won't get a lot of attention.  On the plus side, if it turns out
 that this crash IS the same as #14392, then this bug will get fixed in
 Pidgin 2.10.1 when it's released within the next week.
