Comment:

 In all Microsoft products I tested and in LibreOffice 3.3 it performs as I
 expect.
 eg. writing Greek text in LibreOffice or Microsoft word, pressing CTRL+W,
 program asks to save, discard or cancel and closes the window (on discard
 or after save)
 If the menu shortcut is in English then CTRL somehow temporarily switches
 to English keyboard layout.
 Funny thing is when the application UI is in Greek (so the shortcuts are
 in Greek), I have to switch to Greek layout to use the shortcuts!
 BTW all this is on English Windows UI.
