 If I copy a sequence of characters longer than my pidgin IM window, and
 paste it into said IM window, instead of cutting it off or wrapping the
 characters, pidgin immediately goes into a 100% CPU spin loop that
 responds to no signals except STOP and KILL.

 To replicate:
 run pidgin
 open an IM window
 paste
 O5T68DEHN9S43ISNQ5I1AVK9MQ5UP2O9O7DCNQLOT06R4PP239JK06DMQS6HUVNNNJ8QFFF5HGQ6J2ERN4HS3LO5004G9MRMSNRULTO
 (or some string that doesn't fit on one line and doesn't contain spaces in
 the window.)
