 I believe [http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0030.html XEP-0030] defines the
 <identity> tag, which includes attributes for client name, category and
 type.  There is also a [http://xmpp.org/registrar/disco-
 categories.html#client registry] that lists valid values for the type.
 And I believe [http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0115.html XEP-0115]
 describes another method of exchanging the same information.
